AUGIE
King of the Hill - Augie barely weighs 4 pounds and loves
attention

Unfortunately, within 24 hours of being surrendered, Augie had a
seizure and had to be hospitalized. Veterinary costs were
$500 at OVRS in Bloomfield Hills, MI. A few days after that,
a bladder stone obstructed his urethra and he had to be
hospitalized again. Currently, vets are not recommending
bladder stone and liver shunt surgery because he had seizures last
week, and this makes him a high risk candidate for surgery.
His hospital bills have increased
by another $1,500. His bloodwork results are consistent with
a portosystemic shunt.
